Ipsy.com January 2013 Glam Bag Review

Hello everyone! So I have signed up for the monthly subscription from ipsy.com called Glam Bag ($10 a month). This is my first month of receiving it and I have to say, I'm super excited about it. I have looked into the Birch Box and Beauty Tube and a few others and just didn't think any of them were worth trying. I was watching a YouTube video by Michelle Phan and that is how I learned about it, she is a beauty guru on YouTube and is apparently a founder of the ipsy.com website, at least I think I have that right.
Anyways!! I absolutely loved the bag this ,month! I got things I actually needed and will use regularly, and it didn't have foil packets of samples or tiny tubes of perfume. Everything was either full size or a deluxe sample. I'll insert pictures below for you to see.

First off I received this awesome nail polish. I have been searching for the right red nail polish for forever!! And here it is, Bloody Mary by Nailtini. It's gorgeous, although I have discovered I'm not very good at painting my fingernails with a dark color :}

Next in the bag, that I will repurchase because I love it so much is, Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter. It is 2.5 fl oz. which in my book it a lot for a sample! It is perfect for in your purse, and it makes my hands SO soft and it smell's incredible!

The next item I received is an eye crease makeup brush from the brand SOHO. I have never tried this brand before, I normally use sigma brushes but I really like this brush, I may look into SOHO and possibly purchase more since you can get them at Walgreens . It's too big for my crease but it is perfect blending out the colors on the lid. I have used it every day since I got it.

The fourth item is a 1.5 oz can of Big Sexy Hair volumizing hairspray which is my all time favorite hairspray. Now I have one to keep in my purse!

The fifth item small bottle of Josie Maran Argan Oil. I threw the box away so I don't know how much is in the bottle :( but I feel like it is a great deluxe sample size. I have so far used it as a face moisturizer and to help with split ends in my hair. I haven't noticed if its made a difference in my skin or hair but I will continue to use it.

Last but not least you receive the bag that it all comes in. I have turned it inside out for the pictures because the inside was cuter than the outside which is plain black or a very dark navy, I can't tell, it could go both ways. It's not very big or of high quality but it's nice to put odds and ends in it.

So over all I am super happy with this Glam Bag and cannot wait for next months bag to come in. Thanks ipsy.com!

Long Time, No See (or write ;)

Well, so much for posting every day! Lol. I guess starting a blog before the holidays was not my best idea, but now it's a new year, and my plan is to stay on top of my blog and my YouTube channel, which is still not up yet because I'm in the market for a new computer :( I also have an Instagram account and Twitter account both with the user name Adiktd2makeup, so check me out and friend me I'd love to chat with you.

I have filmed several videos to post on my YouTube channel, but I'm not sure what to do for my first video!?! I need help. What do you guys think I should do for my first video? If you also have a YouTube channel what did you start with? My channel is going to be beauty related and probably mostly makeup (check out my picture, I was playing around with some of my Tarte eye shadows), depending on how that goes I may make a second channel for other things non-beauty related. PLEASE let me know what you think!!!

Stay Beautiful!!
